When Scandal split at the end of 1989, Bill started a promising solo career. This came to a tragic end when he was asked to play bass with Steve Harley. From this point on, Bill’s playing took a massive nose-dive which lead to a period of rehabilitation during which he fell asleep in a greenhouse!
