Qualifying in percussion whilst still at primary school and progressing onto a degree in ‘Super Funky Rhythm Logistics’. Steve then took the coveted title of ‘Best Drummer in Colchester Award’ before being allowed to join the band. However, Steve’s career almost came to an abrupt end when he had to re-sit his ‘Advanced Stick Twirling’ exam. Nowadays Steve can also turn in a good lead vocal whilst bashing the skins!
